Nothing written: refunded. Something written: the retry is free. Stop a turn before it writes and the session comes back.

A session is one Studio turn (Claude Sonnet 5.5) in Build or Plan mode. A small file job on the Quick model (rename, move, delete) counts a quarter of a session. Essentials counts 2 and Max counts 3, because both run Claude Opus 5.5; you choose them, and the menu shows the count before you send. Every account starts with 5 free sessions. No card. Paid allowances reset on the first of each month and do not carry over; sessions are consumed when the model answers and refunded when it does not.
